This
website has been an idea for a long time, to share my
enthusiasm for automotive and suspension topics.
Hopefully
it will be of interest to you, along with some pictures
and articles.
This
is also a business card of sort for others I know in
the industry to contact me.
-
Basically,
I have been in the car and truck suspension parts industry
for almost 30 years, since 1980.
While
primarily in Management, I also teach and consult on
selling the parts, working with manufacturers and warehouses,
doing classes and seminars on suspension related parts,
tech support, consulting on web catalog building and
various other things.
Being
in Management positions, I have knowledge of accounting,
inventory, and distributing, as well as website catalog
construction.
Since
1997 I started learning more about the web end and catalog
aspects of parts and web sites. It's important to stay
up with technology, and the internet has become a great
tool. I saw this coming early on, and I have worked
hard to combine this with my suspension parts knowledge.
Catalog
building with technical and mechanical parts is extremely
exacting, and must be precise. Having worked in this
field for so long, I am probably one of the few people
in the country able to bridge the gap between parts
and actual web catalog integration.
I
can speak equally on topics be it a Parts Professional
or a Webmaster.

I
have been in the parts / suspension business since 1980,
almost 30 years, as Management and a Tech Consultant.
While this is a chosen profession, I am also an avid
tech-head and car / truck enthusiast. It has always
been way more than just a "job".
I've
worked with all kinds of other professionals in car
related fields all my life, from other suspension professionals,
suspension parts manufactures, fabricators, and various
industry leaders. I enjoy every minute.
While
I like to discuss all things about cars and suspensions,
I am also an old school kind of guy, in the sense I
am not afraid to get involved and get my hands dirty.
I am not above grabbing a tool and jumping in to solve
a suspension issue or take a closer look at what's happening
in the industry with a particular part. I feel this
has given me a certain insight to how these parts and
suspensions work in the real world.
This
does not mean I am stuck in the past. A Nissan GTR can
get me just as excited as a '56 Chevy with a Corvette
IRS. I enjoy the entire spectrum of the car and speed
culture of these modern times.
My
years of experience also allows me to communicate better
while in the field with employees, mechanics, fabricators,
or even a home builder, as to what exactly is going
on and how to approach an issue, in a more relatable
manner. And to be honest, it's a great opportunity for
me to talk cars !
This
site is just a brief view of my world.
Stay
safe behind the wheel,
Bruce

"..owning
and running my own parts business for many years, selling
all kinds of parts, primarily for Mercedes and import
vehicles, I have come to rely on Bruce's knowledge and
opinion when coming to suspension parts. A few minutes
on the phone with him can save me time and let's me
know I am helping my Customer with good solid in formation..".

"..having
Bruce run my previous business for nearly 16 years,
I can't think of any professional who could have done
a better job. Building a business and Customer base
is always a challenge, but mechanics are especially
hard, because they can tell if you know what you are
talking about or not. It's a nature of the parts business.
Our core business was primarily suspension parts. Bruce
was able to gain the confidence of mechanics and build
on that. In addition, he was able to manage all aspects
of the corporation from inventory to the company website,
which he was instrumental in bringing to the forefront
of our business model. He was never above learning something
new or attacking a new way of doing business to get
the job done.." Walter Johnston Automobilist Inc.
"...
although we basically only do suspension work and tires,
mainly for trucks, we may come across something suspension
wise that is new or unusual. In cases like these, Bill
or I will call Bruce and see what parts may be available,
or what he may know about that particularly vehicle's
suspension. He's never steered me wrong"... Bernie
- Tire Country
"...the
kind of work we do, restorations, you never know what
kind of shock or suspension part you will need. Bruce
has helped me with everything from Konis for a Shelby
GT500 to having O.E spiral shocks rebuilt for a Chevelle
we did.. Donnie Gould Restorations.
'...
I always get my shocks and strut parts wherever Bruce
is working. I get my other parts here local, but I only
call Bruce when I want suspension parts. They are always
the right ones, and he knows what I want.." George
- Geo's Automotive
"...having
my own business and building performance cars all my
life, when I need a shock or something, Bruce is usually
my first call. We do some unusual fabricating around
here, things that are not in a parts catalog, their
custom, yet Bruce is always able to get the right part
I need or can use.. Bob Lee - Bob's Speed Products 702
NW 6th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311. (954) 764-5912.
"...Bruce
has helped me out many times, from Mustangs to now trucks,
what we do the most today. I think he has a lot of the
part numbers in his head, he always seems to know what
works.." Gabby / Laslo - Gabbys Autowerks 7835
NW 55th Street. Miami, FL 33166.
"...I've
been dealing with Bruce nearly 20 years. When it comes
to shocks and suspension, he can answer just about any
question I have had, and get me the right product the
first time.." Carlos / Autocraze.
"...Bruce
is the one I want to talk to when it comes to different
brands of suspension parts. And I've been dealing with
him for many years, where ever he has worked. He knows
his stuff.." Charlie O. - Truckin
